“Bubbles in the Sea”
This is a song I wrote back in about ‘06. It’s on my album “Ba Ba Ba”.
The lyrics I suppose “borrow” from an old standard from the 20’s called
“I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles”. When I wrote “Bubbles in the Sea” I kind of
thought I might have heard some of the lyrics at some time and a friend who is
a fan of the 20’s -30’s pop music later told about the song. I was glad when
I heard it though that the melody I have is different so as far as I know it’s mine.
